“Positive Enrichment for Professionals”
Chair: Kim Kadel Vice Chair: Bill Morse
Purpose: To develop and maintain a positive, upbeat, focused and motivated group of professionals from a range of fields, who will support each other in growing, sharing best practices(marketing, sales, business operations, etc.) with each other, sharing the cost of promotions(printed pieces, events, imprinted promo items, etc.), providing encouragement and motivation to each other, participating in joint promotional events, and occasionally socializing as a group for the purposes of getting to know one another/bonding on a personal level. Our belief is that a group who knows and likes each other is more naturally going to refer and support each other.
Membership guidelines and requirements:
Must attend 2 meetings per month, held every other month at the Chamber offices, first floor meeting room. 8 AM prompt start time. Occasional location changes are announced.
In order for the group to be successful, and for fairness, we all must commit to attending and participating. So, we will keep an attendance record and if any member misses 3 meetings in a 6 month period, their membership is automatically terminated. If there is a medical or family/personal reason for needing to miss a meeting, they can contact Kim to be excused.
Members must do their best to provide at least one lead per month to one other member. To aid in this effort, all members will be given:
- The list of members and their services
- A “script” of an email or letter than can be sent out to peers, friends and family alerting them about the group and the various services offered
- Business cards from all members(to be kept in separate card booklet and in your car)
Members must be kind and courteous to all other members, treating each other as professional equals. Honesty and integrity must be upheld at all times when dealing with potential clients and referrals you have obtained from the group. Breeches in ethics or unfair/unprofessional treatment of a client may be grounds for removal from the group.
Only one member per business type, with the exception of real estate and mortgage, of which we will have a limit of two. (One commercial and one residential real estate, and two mortgage professionals who specialize in different products.) We may also have two financial professionals/ financial planners if their product and service offerings differ.
NOTE: All members may be asked to assist with tasks on an occasional basis. All will have an opportunity to make a presentation to the group about their business and skills/ offerings.
